Disabling currents didn’t really make much of a difference, as the launcher and wake felt “jumpy” and not as smooth as 4.1. Hopefully this works out for me too.

Windows 8′s dual personality irritated me enough to cause me to switch to Linux. I run a Windows 7 VM or use Wine for Windows applications and boot to my Windows partition for games.

Got to say I’m pretty happy with Linux. It certainly plays well with ADB once it’s set up.

Either way, I ended up getting returning the laptop after a week, turns out Win 8 really gets on my nerves, especially the lock screen.
