Here is Samsung’s Super Bowl XLVII Commercial With Paul Rudd, Seth Rogen, and LeBron James

After teasing their Super Bowl XLVII commercial earlier in the week, Samsung has gone ahead and posted up the full 2-minute spot ahead of today’s big game. As expected, it features Paul Rudd and Seth Rogen as the “next big thing,” a slogan Samsung has used for some time to describe its Galaxy line.

The spot is decent. It’s two minutes long, features a cameo by LeBron James, includes a couple of chuckle-worthy moments, and is directed by Jon Favreau.

    Very very lame. !

  • wh1te_mag1c

I may be in the minority, but I thought the ad was very well done.

  • Sparxx2k7

Wasn’t all that entertaining – but it really tanked with the LeBozo cameo

  • LeBron’s line of “Maybe I’ll do a cameo on a tablet or something?” was brilliant. Gotta say.

    • S2556

I know I think it was my favourite part! haha

Judging by some of the negative reviews in the comments this is EXACTLY was Samsung wants to air. People like us are certainly not the main focus of those big numbers Sammy is posting. People like your girlfriend and your sister would think this commercial is just fine, thats who they’re aiming for. That’s how they beat Apple.

    Better call Saul!

    Better call Saul!

  • mechapathy

    Well that was. . .long.

  • DK

Questioning why Rogan, Rudd, and James are named but not Bob Odenkirk. PRIORITIES.

  • I found that pretty funny, yall need to take the pole out your as$. Yall probably don’t even own smartphones. What did you expect the video to be hilarious? They are trying to sell a phone while adding a few funny moments. Nice video Samsung, the noobs on this blogs are retards.

    • trd105

      well that escalated quickly

    • EvanTheGamer

      Better call Saul!

  • Shannon Reed

Samsung misses it again. Apple makes great commercials because they make the commercials about their phone and what makes it great. Even if it is things android phones have been able to do for years. Apple informs with their commercials while Samsung barely shows the device at all.

    • Yep

Like apple’s revolutionary noise canceling mic that every decent phone since 2010 has had?

      • Shannon Reed

Exactly, but many people do not know that.

On the new iPhone 5S, we’ve included a power button. You press it, and the screen turns on. Press it again and it turns off! It’s magical. It saves a lot of battery for you so you can get through the day. Hold the button you can turn the phone off so you can board a plane. It’s that simple. Press, on! Press, off! Only on the iPhone 5S.

Yes like apples 2 min commercial of a girl singing to her grandpa showing of one feature, video calling that’s been around forever. If Samsung had to do a commercial about the Note 2 features it would be a 45 min commercial

    • wh1te_mag1c

During the SuperBowl, they kept running ads for the Galaxy Note 2 – nonstop. People already know about Samsung’s flagship offerings. Now they’re being sold on Samsung as a cool brand, in general.

  • Big_EZ

    The teaser was funnier.

  • kwubba

If you thought it was going to be a Knocked up like Samsung commercial..then your probably disappointed but probably unrealistic too…it’s going to play in front of a pretty wide audience today.. it’s funny for a Super Bowl ad.

  • Roscoe White

Wait….Isnt that Bob Odenkirk? A man that probably has more talent in his sleep than Paul and Seth lol

    • Javi

      Better Call Saul

  • Thomas

    Go 9ers !!!

    • maynardwelsh4mx

      Hudson. I see what you mean… Pauline`s st0rry is flabbergasting… on

      $5680 this-past/5 weeks and-even more than, 10 grand lass-month.
with-out any question its the easiest-work I’ve had. I started this six
months/ago and immediately was earning at least $76… per-hr. I follow
      this great link, Ask25.com

    • Dont you mean the 50-1ers?

  • microdot

Did I fall out of my chair laughing?….no….but I do think its a good commercial. Samsung must be doing something right, look at their numbers and they don’t even feel the need to bash the iPhone in their adds anymore. I personally have liked all of their adds

    • Good_Ole_Pinocchio

They don’t feel the need to bash the iPhone anymore. . . but they’ve moved on the BB

  • Akashshr

    Samsung………..Stop, Please

  • zepfloyd

    Didn’t even chuckle once…

    • EvanTheGamer

Then you must live a very boring life with not one funny bone in your entire body.

  • Good_Ole_Pinocchio

Well that was pretty stupid. . . Bring on the Geico Babies!

    • EvanTheGamer

You have no sense of humor whatsoever, or else you would have found the commercial to be at least amusing.

      • Good_Ole_Pinocchio

Maybe your sense of humor needs some work. . . didn’t know we had AD fanboys over here.

        • LionStone

I have absolutely NO idea wth he’s talking about, and I’m pretty sure I’m glad 🙂 Go Niners!!!!! Smash Ravens!!!!

  • Chris Badalucco

the teaser was better than the full video

  • Not going to lie…that was kind of lame…

    • sdny8

You’re already lying. “Kind of” is lie

    • EvanTheGamer

Not gonna lie, your comment was kind of lame.
