It really doesn’t affect battery life that much, most battery life is used up by the screen and your brightness settings. On my Nexus it’s always the screen that burns the battery up, so I’ve learned to knock it down when I plan on being gone for a whole day.

But their LTE coverage is better than anyone else’s, but it’s not better than anyone’s 3g. I don’t have it either at school or back home. And while it is pretty speedy, it absolutely destroys my battery when I travel to places that have it.

I call BS. Verizon’s LTE coverage blows everyone else’s out of the water. This is a fact that can’t be disputed. I’m not even in a big town and we have LTE everywhere.

I bought one and I think it’s fantastic. I would rather have solid HSPA+ everywhere instead of a spotty LTE coverage that always reverts back to Verizon’s horrible 3G experience. Straight Talk (AT&T) has given me a better month of experience than any single month I had with Verizon for almost 10 years (and the last year of that was on LTE). LTE = overrated.

Am I the only one who thinks they should hand them out to N4 owners for free? A goodwill gesture for the ordering difficulties and a way to get more people talking about wireless charging.

I’m sure sales for this would be a lot higher if they could have delivered on their phone. It amazes me that they’re not trying to get orders out for it. I wonder if the profit margin was too small… who knows.

The return of the Touchstone! As a former Pre owner I miss the magnetized wireless charging so much. Glad to see Google is bringing it back.

Yea, the wireless charging is cool and I would love to have it, but paying $60 to $114 for something to charge my phone is crazy, when the phone came with a charging cable.

You can also purchase used LTE phones and keep your unlimited data. It doesn’t have to be a NEW phone.
