I took my old outdated 7.7 back to the store that I purchased from, and the manager gladly ordered me a Brand New one. Since it was delayed from the warehouse, he called another store manager and authorized an in store swap. Now I have ICS and it runs like a dream. I called 611 from my VZ phone and they told me I could take it back to the store. It's worth trying. Good luck!!

My galaxy tab 7.7 Verizon 4GLTE was purchased at the Verizon retail store about a month ago. It had stock 4.0.4 I've Cream Sandwhich. I do not use the stock launcher, it is extremely laggy and freezes constantly. Luckily, free alternatives are available in the Google Play store, and most of them fix the problem of lag and minor problems while at the home screen(s). I am glad to hear that it will be receiving Jelly Bean OS, hopefully soon, but I'm not counting on it.
