Daily Steals Hosting Verizon Phone Blowout – Galaxy S3, Galaxy Nexus, and More

Well, if you are looking for a phone off contract on Verizon, Daily Steals is hosting a pretty sweet deal on everything from the Galaxy S3 all the way to the LG Lucid 4G. Some devices have very steep price cuts (they are all refurbished), so go take a look and see if anything strikes your fancy.

Cheers Kevin!

I was a little worried ordering with some negative reviews out, but I picked up the DInc 2 and it arrived as described and in a reasonable amount of time.

  • Michael Liao

so, before i take the plunge (since there’s a no-return policy), if you buy off-contract and use the website to switch devices, you can keep unlimited? and if you had a 3G phone before, do you get the 4G?

  • middlehead

I would’ve bought the hell out of that GS3 if I’d seen this earlier 🙁

  • Destroythanet

Damn, I’m glad I sold my GS3 on Craigslist for 380 last month. This deal kills resale values on used ones.

  • Dylan Dreisch

wish they had the note 2….

  • Their site is a scam. You are going to wait a month before you get your item. You have been warned.

    • Richard Garrison

I wouldn’t call it a scam per say, I order crap from them all the time. Yes, the shipping sucks, and they don’t offer any returns which is why I wouldn’t order anything that is refurbished from them.. However you can get some good deals on the site periodically. Just be warned that you won’t be able to return the item if something goes bad, most likely they have sold out of the item. In certain cases if you bitch enough they will exchange if it is possible.

  • antwonw

Lucid 4G for $199? Seriously!? HAHA! I’d buy the DROID X over the Lucid 4G any day!! That phone sucked!! I returned about two weeks after I got it!

    • TylerChappell

That’s probably because it’s a phone designed for women and first-time smartphone buyers….People should know this. What sucked about it? It scores around 3600 in Quadrant and does great with the 3000mAh battery. Actually puts the Droid X to shame, just saying.

  • Richard Yarrell

What a BUNCH OF USELESS DEVICES. Filled with disabling bloatware and poor battery life and reception. These device should all be BELOW 99 dollars. The ONLY LEGITIMATE device here is the Galaxy S3 and that should be priced at 99 dollars now. As usual Verizon is ripping people off that’s what they do best.

    • antwonw

      1) It’s not VZW selling them 2) They’re off contract.

    • reggie1225

Reading comprehension isn’t your thing huh…

    • squiddy20

“The ONLY LEGITIMATE device here is the Galaxy S3 and that should be priced at 99 dollars now” Sooooo… you think the S3 is THAT overpriced still? Coming from the dope who “applauds” Samsung, sings their high praises, and prattles on and on about how you can “afford whatever devices [you] want whenever [you] want them, that’s hilarious!

“Filled with disabling bloatware” Bloatware which can be disabled in any Android device 4.0 and above. Did you used to say how you were “in the know when it comes to technology”? Doesn’t seem like it now…

  • scapalexis

I brought a GNex from them for the same price they have now. Horrible customer service, but phone arrived in a week. My refurbed gnex has scratches on the corners but a new screen and works great

  • Zach

I have a cracked GNex. Was thinking about getting a new screen and seeing if I could replace it. But this would be a better deal. But if I am doing that, should I just go S3. I really dont like the physical button though. Advice? Just wait out till new devices come along?

    • Buckoman

I didn’t love physical buttons either. I’ve come to love it.

  • Buckoman

    Buy GNex from DS.
List on Ebay for $400 off contract in-box

    But seriously, they’re tempting me.

    • Detonation

Good luck getting even $200 for a GNex on ebay, not including the percentage ebay takes. Unless you meant to say GS3, but then you’d still be cutting it close.

      • Buckoman

Really? Last time I checked, they were going for around $399 off contract. Must have dropped significantly, then. Odd.

        • Detonation

Yea they plummeted around October last year. Probably linked to when Verizon sold off contract refurbs on their site for $230 around the same time.

  • nightscout13

    G-Nex for $220 is a really good price……

    • feztheforeigner

      Nexus 4 is just $80 more though….

      • nightscout13

Isn’t is sold out? besides, I’d rather have a removable battery, an LTE.

        • Tony Allen

Obviously you’ve never had a Gnex on Vzw. You’ll be glad it has a removable battery for when you have to swap out those “extended” OEM batteries 2-3 times a day on LTE. I love the phone but the radios in this thing, not the radio files but the radios that are physically inside, are junk. I feel like Verizon did this to nexus fans intentionally.

          • nightscout13

Matter of fact, I had a G-Nex before my GS3 on VzW. Yes the battery sucked, but that’s due to the SoC choice.

      • flosserelli

        Good luck finding a N4 for $300.

      • lesprince

        If you can get one

      • BSweetness

…but it doesn’t work on Verizon, and most people looking at the phones in this deal will be Verizon customers.

  • My Bionic is still a workhorse with none of the problems. Why so many haters?

    • Get a JB rom, and its golden.

    • The phone itself is pretty good, it’s the role it played/was shoved into in the story of Moto that causes the anger. I like it.

  • cheezer88

Too bad my GNex is still kicking or I would jump all over an S3

  • Nathan Corachea

aww they don’t have the black S3

    • I got mine by luck from Gazelle on eBay, got it for $344 used, great condition. The black one is hard to find (off contract)

  • Mr. Joshua

If you buy an LG Revolution, you are bad and you should feel bad

    • For $199, no less!
Where is Thunderbolt in this list?

      • Tony Allen

On paper the revolution, despite it being awful, is much better than the thunderbolt lol

  • dsass600

    The OG Droid X… Seriously?

    • You realize that it’s not actually Verizon selling these devices, it’s DailySteals.com. Seriously, dsass600?

      • dsass600

        I fixed the comment already…

    • Jonathan Bunch

Droid x is legendary! But 100 bucks is about 50 bucks to much

      • dsass600

I agree this is just a little bit too much for my taste.

    • meijin3

Yeah, can’t wait to offload mine as soon as the N4 is available.

      • dsass600

The N4 isn’t all that good. I had an order in and I ended up canceling it for the Note II. One of my friends got the N4 and I have to say that I’m honestly not impressed at all.

        • meijin3

          What’s wrong with it?

          • dsass600

Just overall not a nice phone. I don’t know what all these reviewers are raving about. The Optimus G for AT&T and Sprint are thinner and feel much better. The screen is also terrible at displaying whites, very dull colors, heats up, and just feels like it’s running the OS unstably.

          • meijin3

          • dsass600

I’m sorry to be the one to deliver the crap news. I suggest you get yourself a Note II or wait for the HTC M7 or Galaxy SIV. Those will all be incredible devices.

          • meijin3

Yeah, I don’t want to be locked into another two-year contract. Perhaps I’ll get a G-Nex until the next Nexus device is released.

          • dsass600

            Just buy it off contract.

          • jpxa

lol, he didn’t deliver any news, he delivered a half-opinion based on having his friends phone for probably no more than a few minutes. I own the N4, have since the first shipment so its been a while now. I had the S3 before it. This phone far out performs it. Gets hot the exact same as any other phone does. And the colors are actually better than the S3’s amoled screen. Samsung purposely makes their colors warmer. N4 displays its true color. The quad core allows me to be playing N.O.V.A. and jump to a text, a quick web browse and even play pandora simultaneously & seemlessly with zero lag. And aesthetically? It’s gorgeous, I find myself loving the glass on the back and looking at the design often. Much better than looking at plastic.

          • dsass600

My phone doesn’t look plastic. It looks metallic actually. And it wasn’t a half baked review. I used it for a good amount of time and not even the guy who bought it, likes it. Battery also sucks compared to the note.

          • jpxa

Well he shouldn’t have bought a phone he didn’t like then. Some people can buy shoes online without trying on, some can’t. And the phone has a very competitive battery, 2100 mAh. I agree that it wasn’t great stock for whatever reason, but I use a faux kernel and the levels I have it set as last all day long. (6:12am-10pm) I’m sure not as long as the Note, but all day is good enough for me. {In any case} at least they’re both not iphones. so no need for further rant bashing.
