qualcomm snapdragon s4

The folks at Qualcomm reached out to us this afternoon to pass along their latest contest. It’s developer-focused, meaning they want to give away three (3) Snapdragon S4 Mobile Development Platform Tablets. As you all know, the Snapdragon S4 Pro is the quad-core beast processor that’s in many of the top phones these days like the Nexus 4 (review) and DROID DNA (review). In this tablet, you’ll find the processor clocked at 1.5GHz, an Adreno 320 GPU, and a world of development at your fingertips.

Here are the instructions for entry:

Enter to win now, by following us on Twitter at @Qualcomm_Dev and tweet using the hashtag #QualcommDevs or Like QDevNet on Facebook and submit an entry form. Good luck!

You can enter to win once per week, through February 1st.

  • These Snapdragon S4 Mobile Development Platform Tablets could move mountains!!!

  • Nice!

  • Starting my Android app development. This would be a great start to run and test my apps. Tired of using emulators !

  • Thanks for the great site and podcast can’t wait for the next.

Why the heck are there no actual tablets on the market for sale using this awesome SoC? The S4 Pro’s full potential is being wasted on devices like the DNA with limited, fixed internal storage and small(ish) screens. Asus should have had an S4 Pro-based TF Infinity variant for the holiday season! Tegra3 is showing its age and I am not counting on any T4 products actually being for sale anytime in the next 4-6 months.

Yeah right. Asus wouldn’t do Nvidia like that.

  • I hope a developer gets it and not some greedy person who just wants a fun toy

Is there anything in place to stop non developers from entering or winning?

      • feztheforeigner

They should have asked that the tweet included a link to an existing published application, but they didn’t so anyone can enter.

    • I hope some greedy developer gets it and not just an app developer who just wants a fun toy

  • um, that tweet is too long.

    • It just says to tweet using the hashtag, not tweet the instructions.
