I would say that most people hold their phone at about half their arms length, about 12 inches or so from the eye, not up to their nose.

You stretch your arm out all the way when using your phone? You have much better eyes than others, I believe. I hold my phone in my hand with my elbow crooked, and the phone is about 12 inches away from my eyes.

A 7 inch with a full HD display is a waste. 1280*800 is good and plenty. How much will the 7 inch cost? $399? It will not sell.

Not at all. I use T-Mo in the bay area and get plenty fast speeds. I really don’t care which technology is my bearer as long as the data rates are high enough to stream HD from netflix or amazon. I can do that very well with Nexus as a hot spot to my smartTV.

Now, people with a Verizon plan are out of luck and that is a let down. But a very large part of the globe is UMTS so Verizon really is small potatoes in that sea.

You really don’t feel like the Nexus 4 is a let down? It doesn’t have LTE, it has a back made of glass that cracks like an egg.. it essentially has all the problems we made fun of in the *phone 4S lol. How can we not stick our foot in our mouth when our own Nexus has the faults that the previous gen *phone had.

I’m sorry LG, but I seriously can not trust you again with phones. The Nexus does not count because it’s a Nexus. All my phones that I have had with Verizon so far have been LG, this current one being an android. I love what android can do as an OS, but LG has really given me a crappy experience even with rooting. I will wait for the next flagship phone from Samsung.

I’d like to think LG has learned its lesson over the last couple years and is really trying to do the right thing. The Optimus G and Nexus 4 are good examples. Noted updates are in the works to bring their other phones up to ICS at least.

LG deserves a second look so I, for one, am optimistic for 2013; LG will do some good stuff.

Now if we were talking about Nokia or RIM then that’s a different story. More good hardware with not so good software.
