I question the intelligence of anybody who stands in line waiting to eat crap food at a chain restaurant. Anyone who sees other people standing in line to eat crap food at a chain restaurant and decides that’s a good reason to do the same is obviously mentally retarded.

Maybe LG just should make all their phones and tablets with pure android for now on, no other manufacturer is doing it. It would be Nice to see All manufacturers have at least 1 Nexus phone with all the other phones they release in a year.

Placed the order for my Nexus 4 yesterday morning and it said “Ships in 5-6 weeks”. Wake up this morning with a shipment confirmation… WTF??? AWESOME!

Why do we take it » The Nexus 4 is pretty amazing right? I was so excited for this phone that I called in sick for work, set up multiple browsers on auto refresh, and spent 6 hours with the most disappointing e-commerce experience of my life. It was all worth it in the end though, when I finally got through! Wrong! A couple days later I received an email letting me know that I canceled my order. Huh? When I contacted support, I was greeted by a friendly voice explaining that Google never makes mistakes, and it had to be my fault. I went back in forth with them for a day hoping that someone would help, or at least look into the issue. Well… I was met with more nice passive voices letting me know that I can definitely have a Nexus 4 in 6-7 weeks if I order it today. I am 27 years old, and I already miss the days when a company had to care about their customers.

A little venting…

I have the DROID 3, been on Big Red for several years. I have an unlimited data plan, but it doesn’t seem worth it to stay on Vrz for 90 a mo. I’ve been on 3g all this time so I’m ready for a change. I’m ready for the N4.

that’s funny, my local T-Mo at a big mall doesn’t even have it on the floor.. the one time I was able to get a hold of it, I had to ask the reps to take it out from the “back”.. the other time, the guy didn’t even want to.

Really the only thing anyone had to go on are previous sales of Nexus phones which I don’t think have ever been spectacular right out the door. I certainly didn’t see that much more buzz than normal for a new nexus device outside of the usual android news forums. And considering all the GS3s being sold I wouldn’t think a nexus 4 would see that much of a demand. But thats a first world problem and if thats google’s biggest problem thats a good problem to have.

If you don’t mind me asking, how many minutes do you get on your T-MO plan per month? I really hate Verizon and paying $90+ per month, and I’m really wanting to go no contract and pay much less each month.

Yeah getting on tmos special $30 plan took me the better part of a day and like 7 or 8 calls. Just remember they refer to it as the Walmart promotional plan. You can also tell them you got the sim from T-Mobile.com. Walmart employees seem clueless, I ended up buying a refill card per their instructions which were wrong (but then used it anyway, but still wtf). You can only get on it when activating a new sim. So call and tell them you want on it and you have an activation kit from Walmart or T-Mobile.com and want the Walmart promotional plan (be explicit on the minutes/text/data since there is another $30 plan!). They can do it on the phone for you. I did it this way cause I already had a sim I activated and intended to use. But word is you can do it when activating yourself online for first time too. What a huge hassle. Anyway, service in metro areas in fantastic. Small towns and in the sticks, it blows and is nonexistent. Still debating what to do. Might end up on straight talk. Groove IP gets you around using your minutes with GV.
