You know what sucks? The toads that work in our IT department that will be oblivious that this even exists. They are a den of microsoft fanboys that can’t see cost savings and efficiency if it slapped them in the face.

This would be nice for our Lotus Notes client and others. I have helped a few around the office side load it on their Android devices.

The problem is the company I work for has too much momentum started with iOS devices. They are an option for all top tier managers. I think Google still has a bunch of ground to make up to get that Enterprise share they my be looking for. But this is definitely a step in the right direction!

It’s just too easy for large companies to go with the option that gives them consistency across the board. Easier for IT to setup and control and diagnose problems if everything is the same. The beauty of Android is the options, which is kind of bad for Enterprise use.

That is much more convenient than needing to sideload apps that are privately used by a company.
