Evan, you can also get these at some Fye stores and a Barnes & Noble near my college actually has them too. =] But not every Fye and not every B&N carry them.

To be honest, I haven’t ordered any of the Big Box yet so I can’t say for sure. As far as I understand the Big Box is not limited. It’s a mass produced set to be sold in retail stores. Since they are not limited I don’t think there is any market for fakes. Also, some of the items I linked are sold directly by Amazon which I would trust to have legit items.
