I called customer service to inquire about an early upgrade today. They told me they would like to upgrade me so long as it wasn’t an apple product or a Samsung s3 or note 2 as their manufacturers would not allow them to upgrade early. Uncle Verizon and I may have to part ways.

Thought I answered this, but basically its when you have an upgrade on another line when you don’t have one, and you ask to use that upgrade for yourself. It’s like borrowing an upgrade from another line. No matter what though, if you want to keep unlimited you can never use the upgrade on the line that has unlimited data. This is why you just activate it on another line, then just move it/activate to your line.

Worked for me, though for some reason reactivating the Note 2 on my unlimited data line didn’t “take” until day.

If verizon had their way , the phone would be laced with acid so the first time you picked it up the acid would burn the verizon logo onto you your skin, just like branding cattle.

!!!–Verizon is cheating people on the new Galaxy Note 2.–!!!
So I tried T-Mobile and their GNote2 was packed nice and tamper proof sealed. In the box you get:

1 Phone
1 USB Cable
1 Battery
1 Wall Charger
1 Set of Ear buds

Their coverage was the worst in my area so I gave them back. Then I tried Sprints version of the GNote2 it came and I got:

1 Phone
1 USB Cable
1 Battery
1 Wall Charger
1 Set of Ear buds

3G only in my area in Northeastern PA. So I gave both phones back. Unfortunately I was going to drop Verizon but I felt like I had no choice because of where I live. Not only was I forced to drop Unlimited but I got my 2 phones and in each box I get.

1 Phone
1 USB Cable
1 Battery
1 Wall Charger

Where are my headphones??? Why is every other carrier putting them in the box and Verizon will not make you pay extra to get a set? I want to return my 2 phones now because I know it is not just the European versions of this phone that come with headphones. Verizon deliberately told someone to take them out of the box for each phone. Not only that the boxes the phones come in were already open. NO tamper proof seal??? what gives. I am going to blow this up all over the internet because this is Verizon way of deliberately cheating people out of a product. I must I got everything in the box with T-Mobile and they gave me a rebate that brought the GNote2 to $99 and I still got headphones. I am forced to go with Verizon, pay full price and I get cheated out of headphones??? This is definitely the last straw with me and I hope others also. Chime in if you want to start a riot.

Got mine today and I’m loving it! The size is what drew me to it. Have a SGS3, got a Nexus 7 and started carrying both. Then I dropped my Nexus 7 and rather than replace it, I decided to go phablet!

Actually, I “borrowed” my moms upgrade. Verizon cut off my unlimited data. It’s a new policy that’s been out for 2 months apparently. I had to call customer service and complained about it. Because I called like 7 other stores asking if I could do that to keep my unlimited. They said yes. Since I called like 7 stores, they were nice enough to switch me back to unlimited but warned me in the future if I attempt this. I would lose my unlimited data.

Had the dna for a week, exchanged it for a note today. Get the note, it’s truly a revolutionary device while the dna is just a super charged smartphone that will have the best specs for a few months

Battery life, sd card, and bigger screen initially. But just the shock factor of the note surprised me. Samsung’s TW skin adds to 4.1 while sense feels like it’s taking away from the stock experience. The s pen seemed like a non practical selling point but even with 10 hours I’m hooked.
