I’ve read the info about the limit. That has nothing to do with anything except that Google has told them that the phone won’t be available for 6-8 weeks. So they are basing their decision on the fact that they don’t want customers making complaints about not receiving the device after purchasing them on ebay. Aka they’re trying to prevent loads of customers sending in complaints about sellers selling them a device they can’t ship for 6-8 weeks.

If your facts are so great, why not just copy and paste them here. It’s not like I’m unwilling to believe any facts that I’m presented with. It’s just that Google has never released numbers for us, therefore we’ve always been in the dark about the Nexus line in terms of sales.

I informed you of a sales limit that eBay imposed, so you start talking to me about the Play store. Your right, I don’t have any idea how many Google is actually selling – but I do have an idea how many are being sold on eBay (my employer), and I informed you about the sales limit that we imposed. Why don’t you respond to that? You can simply Google the information I gave you to verify that I am telling the truth. Or better yet, just don’t respond – this is annoying.

I couldn’t care less how the phone sells (Well I sort of do because I love the idea of the Nexus, which is the reason I have the Galaxy Nexus). But it selling out has nothing to do with it being a “hot seller” it has all to do with how many units they have available. Google is known for having trouble keeping up with demand (despite not having a huge demand), which causes it to appear like they’re selling out, when if they were a capable manufacturer (Or capable of picking someone better to partner with) then they would be able to keep up with demand and maybe we’d be able to see some real numbers. Since they’ve never been able to produce enough devices compared to other manufacturers, we really have no clue how well they’re doing. Whether that matters or not, who knows – but the fact is you or anyone else have no idea how many they’re selling.

Whether you want to keep making up facts or not is your deal, the fact is, there are no facts. All we know is Google can’t keep up a website to sell devices and they run out of devices that they sell despite them not being very popular. I love Nexus devices, I have the 2 Nexus 7′s (One for myself one for my wife) and the Gnex, but I know for a fact they aren’t nearly as popular as we want them to be.

I still think you are having a hard time understanding why your logic is flawed…someone else explained it pretty good further down, so I’ll just leave it up to you to figure it out.
2) If I was looking for proof that they were selling well, (and I was going to ignore all the analysts that already confirmed this) – You could look at eBay who as of today set a sales ceiling for non-authorized sellers to sell the Nexus 4 (they only do this with “hot” items). The phone is selling pretty good, I’m sorry that makes you upset.

P.S – I don’t care how well the damn phone sells, your comment was just stupid. I’ve already pointed out why, so have others, I’m not going to debate over a goddamn phone that I am not going to be buying with you.

You have no clue how many units they are selling because they don’t release the numbers. And I’ll bet you a million freagin dollars they aren’t selling NEARLY as many as you think. We know the Galaxy Nexus didn’t sell well, why would this be any different when less people actually have access to purchasing it?

personally i’d say yes.. do yourself a huge favour though.. make sure you sign into dropbox on your s3 to get the free 50gb storage (it’s what i done) and then also download the ‘box’ storage app on your nexus 4 when you get it – they are offering 50gb to all lg phones if they log on / register via their lg devices by dec 31st.

that’s 100 gb storage right there yo!

I’ve heard up and down on the battery. I think it has to do with the fact that Google shipped review units with unfinished software, which is a major fail in my opinion.

Not to mention it does . . . wait for it . . . have LTE. Do people complaining about the N4 not having LTE on Droid Life even read Droid Life? How can anyone complain about Verizon’s heavy handed approach to devices, then piss and moan when Google says “F U, Verizon, we’ll go it on our own”? Boggles the mind.
