The Droid Life Show hits episode number 5 tonight! Topics include the HTC DROID DNA (thanks to special guest Dave), the new Nexus family, Android 4.2 highlights, our favorite apps of the last week, the hottest games of the moment, and couple of juicy rumors. It’s going down, so you won’t want to miss it.

It’s nothing personal, but does anyone else find Tim’s input to topical discussions lacking? At least when compared against the other three contributors? I guess they just come off as simple first impressions, rather than thorough analysis. /$.02

Verizon makes all the “Droid” ads and at the time of the OG Droid and the Droid Incredible, Verizon didn’t have the iPhone. So they went all out in attacking the iPhone in all their “Droid” ads. Fast forward to 2012 (even going back to 2011) Verizon took the iPhone and added it to their line up. Verizon still wants to sell as many iPhones as possible, so they would be foolish (from a business standpoint) to make ads attacking the iPhone at this point like they did in the past.
