Dolphin for flash… Chrome for everything else…isn’t chrome the default browser in android now?

i only use chrome to visit pc browser sync open tabs and pages that don’t require flash.

Serious question –is there a way to import bookmarks from the stock Android Browser into Chrome?

I found instructions the last time I searched, then went to the settings area they told me to go to, and the options the instructions listed simply weren’t there. It was a definite letdown for me, and I uninstalled. I wondered if newer versions of Chrome somehow lacked the feature I was looking for.

It absolutely blows my mind how laggy and choppy scrolling and pinch to zoom is on chrome for android. Completely inexcusable.

Apple should have done a side by side comparison of safari on the ipad mini to chrome on the nexus 7 if they really wanted to make android look bad.

Considering how I mainly use my nexus 7 for web browsing, I do believe I would have abandon my nexus 7 if it wasn’t for dolphin.

I agree that Chrome is far better. It’s also equipped with many more of the new web technologies compared to the stock browser.

It’s still Chrome v 18. Desktop is on 22 already. I don’t know what the hold up is. They must be struggling to make this massive browser work properly on mobile devices.

Agreed, but Linux and Flash don’t really get along well in general. I’ve never really seen flash’s instability as an edge.

I agree, I hate having to have a secondary browser installed just to use flash, which is why I want it to die and be replaced, but that won’t happen any time soon.

Not going to bother updating. My HTC Trophy arrives soon, and my Rezound is hitting ebay. Cant wait till this horrible contract with Verizon is up.

Obviously, and for sites that require flash, I use Dolphin, but the integrated tab/bookmark sync in Chrome makes it the go to browser. Having to use a secondary browser for a mostly dead medium is annoying.

Yes, but this was another edge for Android. Now it’s level playing field again with iOS unfortunately.
