LG will need to prove themselves in the software support/update arena before I consider a phone from them. I’m not saying everyone else has done a great job, but from what I’ve seen, LG has been poorer than average.

LG is definitely taking the approach this year of trying to offer specs that are one tier above their price point. When the Lucid came out, it was a budget-priced phone with pretty decent mid-range specs, just as this is a mid-priced phone with mostly high-end specs, not too bad. But I am still not enough of an LG fan to consider this device.

People and their complains. 99 dollars, on the website there is no rebate, 99 dollars straight up. For snapdragon s4, 720p ips display. I Looked at the original spectrum and it was hands down the best screen, and I am sure this is an improvement over the other. For the price you can’t go wrong with this phone.

The Razr M is probably the best mid-range phone at the moment. The battery should easily make it through a day of medium usage (about 3-4 hours of screen-on time), and its small size is really comfortable to hold despite being built like a tank. The screen isn’t as large or as high-res as the Spectrum2, but imo its perfectly acceptable, and the colors are nice and bright.
As always, the best thing to do is find a local store if possible so she can handle the device. Most of the stores I have gone to are more than happy to let you hold a non-display model or two to help you make a final decision.

The “Full 4.7 of screen” is NOT a plus. I’ll take onscreen buttons anyday. Any phone with hard buttons is a fail. Can you say going backwards!!

this isnt a version of the optimus g is it a version of the lte 2 that was released over seas. This was also in the books for awhile and I think if anything verizon won’t get a nexus until much later

Another Verizon LG phone that will take forever to get Jellybean. Also I can’t believe that we get this instead of the Nexus 4.
