Google Cancels Monday’s Android Event Due to Hurricane Sandy

Google has cancelled the Android event that was to take place in New York on Monday, due to the threat of Hurricane Sandy. No new date for the event has been scheduled just yet. Once we know more from them, we’ll be sure to pass it along.

Probably better that they delayed the event now that we know the market is closed.

Oh great. So not only do I have a hurricane to worry about, but I also can’t watch the live stream when I’m home? I BLAME VERIZON TOO

  • iNfAMOUS70702

god damit….i have moday off too so i was gonna watch the event =/

  • Simon Belmont

Nice. People are like “hurrr, they should have held it here instead of NYC.”

If that alternate place were having a natural disaster, you’d be saying the same thing except a DIFFERENT venue. Try to think about the millions of people affected by the storm instead of a Google event that will still be held eventually.

If anyone is looking to pick up a 32GB Nexus 7 give your local Office Depot a call. I called mine this afternoon and they had just gotten 3 in stock. I had them put one aside for me and went and picked it up a lil while ago.
