I usually get 1meg down and up in rural backwooded virginia on 3G — It’s never low like 22k unless I’m roaming on another network like us cellular

Verizon support is notorious for telling porkies. I won’t even go into the drama regarding the JB update for my Galaxy Nexus. It was literally a different story every time I talked with someone. As a new customer I am not impressed with Verizon’s customer service. As soon as my contract is up, I’m going back to Sprint, a company that actually puts their customers first.

Then stop being their customer. When will consumers stop bitching and just take their business elsewhere? Believe you me, nowadays, the only way a corporation the size of VZN will give a flying $hit about you is if you’re not giving them your hard-earned dollars. Hate to say it, but it’s true. Once they start losing customers and begin to ask why, maybe then you’ll see the changes you want. Nothing will happen though by complaining on Droid Life.

Not me. I got 22k down (but over 1M up) on my last speed test. They need to make sure their 3G works in places that are likely years away from 4G.

Not trolling. That’s what I was told. I know a lot of the time they’ll tell you what you want to hear just to get you off the phone but this woman actually seemed sincere. Just gonna have to wait and see what happens. I’m running the CM 10 Jelly Bean ROM on my Galaxy Nexus and it’s really fast and smooth. I can only hope Verizon doesn’t kill the update with all their bloatware. Only time will tell.
