The Droid Life Show: Episode 1

Welcome everyone, to the first episode of The Droid Life Show! Tonight, being the first ever broadcast, I’d be lying if I didn’t admit that it means a lot to us. We have been doing this Android news thing for 3 years now and realized that we had more to say than traditional posts can always express. This show, will hopefully help us get it all out – the rants, rumors, and random thoughts about the tech industry. It’s also a great way for us to try to catch you up on the hot topics from the last week or so in a short 45 minute to hour long segment.

Below, you’ll find a video embed of the live broadcast with the entire DL team, along with a chat box, so that everyone can get their opinions and ideas off their chests. It’s going to be a casual and open environment in there. Feel free to stop in and join us.

The show starts promptly at 6:00PM Pacific (9:00PM Eastern).

I really like this. Android Central has been doing this for a while and it really helps the readers to get a more personal feeling with the staff. Now that I know what you guys sound like and look like, it’s easier to relate to your opinions and it makes DL feel like more of a community rather than a faceless news site.

Keep it up, I’ll tune in every time.

  To be fair, Tim had his Solo’s on too. I actually own the Mixr’s and they are very clean sounding. Its as much of a fashion thing as it is a sound thing…for me anyway.
