I love seeing these updates to the old warhorse Xoom. It makes it SO much easier to blacklist certain companies such as Asus and Sony who refuse to support their devices to JB that are otherwise identical (or better, in some other cases) in specs to the Xoom, especially wi-fi tablets. In many ways, the Xoom was the first and only "nexus" device to really trump everything else on the market spec-wise when it launched.

What a shame the GED Xoom line did not continue. If they had made it thinner/lighter, added an IPS screen and given it the abiliity to charge over microUSB, it'd still be a superb device even today. Moto did all of those things on the Family Edition and Xyboards, but those were ruined with Blur and having LTE versions promoted over wi-fi versions.

Well since Google updates the Verizon Xoom as well, maybe this means our update from Google is coming soon. Hopefully VZW won't need an additional 2 months to test this update considering that it's such a minor update, and the fact that VZW has had the 4.1.1/JRO03H update to play with since early August. Ugh. Owning a VZW Xoom is very frustrating.
