I think it’s the other way around. Typically the buying company’s stock takes a hit do to the taking on of new debt and expenditures, while the selling company’s stock sees a spike. Metro should be seeing the bump right now.

Of all the things Sprint needs to do they don’t need to be worrying about this merger. Tmobile’s got this under control and understands exactly what needs to be done. This will bring plenty of great options for many people especially from a prepaid standpoint. Plus a stronger GSM network will be great plus Tmobile will have it’s LTE ADVANCED 10 NETWORK working sometime next year with fall back on HSPA PLUS 42MPS network. Metropcs and Tmobile will do great..

Loans based off the collateral of what the company is worth, business do it all the time in buyouts. When business merge, a lot of times people will jump on board and start buying their stock and invest if it has a foreseeable positive effect. Right now you may want to buy sprint stock before they buy out, if they do. Usually a spike in stock when buyouts occur to merge business.

What’s up with the sprint haters? I’m going on hard on sprint 3G and my speeds are just as good as my vzw and AT&T buddies. I hope sprint does buy out metro. Maybe it will convince people to move to the now network. I have no issues with sprint.

They have roaming agreements with Sprint, but MetroPCS has it’s own towers. This is a spectrum buy and nothing else.

Best way to describe Sprint’s data network is like shoving 30lbs of sh¡t in a 5lb bag… They need MetroPCS for some extra poundage in Sprint’s 5lb bag. Sprint can stay competitive with their unlimited everything, but not everyone knows that they have so many people on their network.

Again, does Sprint even have the cash for this? Sprint spent dumb money on WiMax/Clearwire and then had to keep pumping money into it to keep it afloat, then agreed to a ridiculous iPhone contract, and now is rolling out LTE. Last I checked Sprint had negative net income, so I ask again , where in the hell is the money coming from?

I hope Sprint does out bid TMo.. If I ever jump ship Sprint would be my first choice and more LTE never hurts. Never again will I have TMo.. Worst company I’ve ever dealt with. Not to mention VZW had LTE in my area before they had 3G..
