I haven’t tried it, but I might have to. My company purchased Visio for all users so if I use something else it’ll be out of my pocket. If MS released an Android app I could probably expense it or it would hopefully be affordable like the OneNote upgrade license. The main requirement would be that the diagrams produced would need 100% compatible with Visio.

Have you tried Lucidchart? It has native Visio import and export and is getting quite popular for that very reason (among others).

I was thinking 10″ tablet would be a minimum requirement, larger screens are always better when it comes to excel, but Xooms are pretty cheap now too.

not true.. you can get a bluetooth mouse + keyboard plus a nexus 7 for under $250, close to $200 if you don’t care about peripheral brand

if their own company states it.. obviously it is correct, companies don’t just post random information… but zepfloyd is right.. Frak is probably thinking “WTF do these idiots not know were are trying to sell WP’s right now and office is an exclusive?”

I got quickoffice for free when it first came out on my D1 back in spring of 2010, never used it, except twice to open up pdf files.

Honestly, if they price it anymore than QuickOffice, I think I’ll stick with that – I don’t do much document editing on my phone/tablet, and would rather use the full suite on my laptop. Now, they could go right and make it free, but M$ is money hungry and that’s going to happen when hell freezes over and pigs fly over it.

Mobile devices are not productivity devices. Editing documents on ANY mobile device sucks, because you don’t have traditional input methods available to you.

Sounds like you’re more hampered by the Word paradigm of editing a document that you are by the actual limitations of Google Docs.
