I was so looking forward to it last year until it came out and I saw the Pentile effect, the quiet speaker, and the notification light disappointed me too, not to mention the reports of the low battery life at the time. I really don’t know how anyone can enjoy the Pentile screens, but I’m glad it doesn’t bother everyone because to each their own. I’m going to wait for the next batch of phones and hopefully pick the HTC, Note 2, or Maxx HD. Unless another Nexus is announced, then maybe I’ll wait for that. But, man that Note 2 sounds like a winner. At first I wasn’t sure about going with such a big screen, but then I thought about it and realized I use my phone more for emailing and texting than I do a phone.
