Anyone have the data files for Madden NFL 12? Their crap is broken & no one can download it.

  • youngij

Tried to buy the Camera Zoom FX. In play store in showed $0.25, but when I purchased, I was charged $2.99. Reported problem and the price was changed on the site to $2.99 instead of standing by the $0.25.

  • Bionic

The only app i have purchased during this promo is picsay pro because it really is the best photo edit app on the market.

    • EvanTheGamer

Indeed it is. I downloaded it at full price like a year and a half ago. It definitely is the single greatest photo editing app on the Google Play Store.

  • Bionic

Huge rumor. Verizon is bringing back unlimited data in November.

    • EvanTheGamer

WHAT?! And where’d you hear this?! LINK!?

      • Bionic

The same source that was talking about the negotiations with Verizon and motorola. It’s on droid forums

        • EvanTheGamer

Wow, that would be awesome. I wonder if Verizon has been receiving a huge negative backlash from customers, threatening to leave ‘em unless they bring unlimited data back with no catch.

I honestly haven’t been reading much about that, so I don’t know if they’re losing customers over this, or what.

Anyways, this would be great if it’s really true.

          • Bionic

basically yes that is what is happening. According to the source a lot of people since June who did not even hear about vzw’s new plans went into stores to get a new phone and were shocked to hear about losing unlimited. Many of whom when to sprint, and people who could care less stayed with vzw.

He even has a picture of a pricing poster on the forum with the pricing.

          • EvanTheGamer

Yikes! Well, let’s hope this is true. I’m up for an upgrade I think early next year(early upgrade) and I would really hate to pay full price for a phone just to keep unlimited data. We’ll see.

          • Bionic

I think its true because other people on the forum have stood firm and demanded unlimited data and some of them are being allowed to keep it, why would vzw let someone keep it if they arent going to change something soon? AT&T customers are also reporting success with keeping unlimited.

          • EvanTheGamer

Wow, then maybe it is. Due to this tactic, they will lose more business than gain more long-term, so it was really dumb of them to think that this would help them. And what’s funny is is that they think everyone wanted this. Right….

          • Bionic

Yeah, I personally do not use more than 1GB a month and my wife only uses 1.5GB a month (iphone). So I was honestly just going to accept it and buy the 4GB package, but hey if i can keep unlimited then obviously ill do it.

          • Bionic

wow i just looked at i’ve only used 400mb this month so far and my wife is at 900mb, LOL

          • EvanTheGamer

LOL! Something is strangely wrong with that picture…hahah. I think I used 3-4GB so far, even though today is the end of the month. lol But I text a lot and download a lot, plus stream Netflix.

          • Bionic

Well I dont do a lot of streaming of music or video. I use facebook and GPS but that does not amount to much. But sometimes if the Bears are playing on sunday night football and im at work I like to use the NFL app to watch the game and that could use a lot of data in one night.

          • EvanTheGamer

Oh yeah, I can imagine that. That’s cool though. But even with not using as much data, I’d still want unlimited data, JUST in case. I don’t want to have to pay for extra GBs if I go over my allotment. It’s bs.

          • Bionic

Not only that but I got my NEXUS 7 now so my data usage the last few months has gone way down since I use my tablet while im at home instead of my phone. Thats the other reason i want to keep unlimited, so that i can use foxfi with my tablet, haha.

  • EvanTheGamer

Is it just me or are these daily $.25 deals getting weaker?

    Seriously.

    • wickets

most apps are lame to begin with ergo your surprise is a bit of a surprise, Real calc is a great app which alone is worth the whole 25c fanfare

    • capecodcarl

Today is a great day for apps. Where’s My Perry and Cut the Rope are really addictive games.

      • EvanTheGamer

Guess I didn’t look closely enough as I didn’t see the “real” gems among these $.25 apps.

Just purchased Ski Safari late last night, and wow is the game highly worth the quarter price tag. It’s just a very solid game, super fun overall. I’d have payed full price.

You’re basically skiing down a mountainside, doing backflips(to gain a boost of speed), getting powerups, and even using different creatures and things of sorts as a sort of temporary upgrade to your skies(hence “powerups”), like a Yeti, a Penguin, and even a bird that gives you flight, soaring through the clouds, collecting coins along the way. This game is sort of like Jetpack Joyride in the sense that you collect coins and compete specific objectives to level up.

And all of this is occurring while skiing away from an impending doom in the form of an avalanche that’s trying to crush you and end your journey. It’s all about how far you can travel before the avalanche kills you. Every backflip, powerup, etc. gives you additional points towards your highscore.

Plus the game offers catchy music and very clean graphics(honestly best played on a tablet(Nexus 7 anyone?)).

It’s a “not-to-miss” game. Download it! Highly recommended!

    • honk

ah NM this is the stuff the international ver got a few weeks ago, guess I should GOOGLE next time. DOUH
On topic wish I had seen this on the last set, few things there I would have got.

  • Brien

Is there any way to download a tablet version of an app without a tablet? Don’t currently have one, but intend to get one in the future, and want to take advantage of the sale.

    • http://www.techmantis.net/ Minja Miketa

Just purchase the app and download it later.

      • Brien

Doesn’t display on my phone, and Play store website insists on installing it to a device (not compatible with phone). Not sure of a workaround, if there is one.

        • Murphy

I owned a Kindle Fire (sold it) but it’s still in my list…so I’m purchasing now until I get another tablet…:)

  • Higher_Ground

I got pool break pro a long time ago, and still play it from time to time, though mobile isn’t the best platform for a pool game. It’s fun to play carroms, though, as I haven’t played that since building a makeshift board in college.. cardboard isn’t the best material.

I picked up the real calc just so the free version will stop asking me to upgrade to premium

  • trd105

Madden also doesn’t download for the Galaxy Nexus. Realized this after the 15min window. Luckily it was only 25¢

    • antinorm

Looking at the reviews (change it to ‘Newest First’), the extra content download isn’t working for anybody.

  • balticzar

no madden 12 for the GS3!?!?! What the eff???????

  • ph0oky

madden won’t support the GS3? wtf?!

    • http://www.facebook.com/people/Jason-Norris/707380166 Jason Norris

I bought SimCity a while back during one of the previous promotions like this while I had my SGS. Come to find out it wasn’t (and still not) supported by the GNexus I have now. I wouldn’t hold my breath waiting as EA is pretty horrible in updating/fixing their games.

    • Futbolrunner

      Im so blown!

      • michael arazan

madden won’t download to the galaxy nexus, all the reviews are 1 star except for 2 of them.

        • John

Yeah. Same here. Stupid download is broken. I think they’re being overloaded with traffic atm.
