surprised that 10″ tablets can easily include 1080p, while it’s a true rarity when a 15″ laptop gets 900p(1440×900 or 1600×900) smh.

Yeah, I’ve got a 3 year and some months old 14in laptop, that I bought real cheap. I hated the resolution since I got it. Definitely getting a thinkpad with 1600×900 next.

I’m actually really surprised how even high-performance laptops still include 1366×768 all the way up to 15 inch. 13 inch with that res is already a stretch, but 15 inches is not right.

i love that they’re aggressively pushing up resolution, especially on the 7″. i still think the form factor of the Nexus 7 is better (mostly the bezel design and no home button), but it’s nice to see B&N put out something a little different from the others. there are now 3 distinct $200 android tablets each with compelling and slightly different use cases.

So the bigger one has a better resolution than my 24in monitor and my TV and the smaller one has a better resolution than my laptop. Great.

I’m still happy with the Nexus 7 and it’s four cores. If the Nook HD+ has an unlockable bootloader though, I might feel a little remorse. I really wanted something with 9″ and and SC card slot.

Is it hackable? If not, I’ll stick with my Nexus 7. If the Nook HD+ has an unlocked bootloader, then I’ll be pissed. I really wanted 9″ with a slot (giggle)
