    This just made my day.

  • Awesome news!

I’m going to laugh when Prime owners get this and still complain about force closes and lag. No software can fully make up for the cheap memory hardware that they put into these devices. Some people achieved better performance and less ANRs by hacking the system on to a SD Card and running off of that than the internal memory but go ahead ASUS and try to prove me wrong. Tell you this, got my Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 about a month ago when I traded in my Prime at Best Buy and it too runs Ice Cream Sandwich but I don’t have any ANRs like I did with the Prime. Full Satisfaction.

@Timotato:disqus any news on whether or not the Acer A200 will get Jellybean?

  • Awesome…I can’t wait until JB roms implement this

  • DanKemple

Can’t wait for butter on this Tegra3. Should be faster than the Nexus 7 theoretically since the processor is faster than the N7. Here’s hoping it’s everything we dreamed of.

    • JB

You should see the numbers that custom kernels are putting up on the N7. 7,000+ quadrant scores.

    • You’re forgetting the difference in screen size. The extra pixels the Infinity has to push might cause a slight decrease in performance over the N7 but then again, the Infinity has a slightly higher clock speed which should make up for the extra pixels. Overall it will be interesting to see how well the Infinity performs with JB, I’ve been hearing a lot of ICS causing it to lag and be unstable.

This has been a great week. WOW and now this. Awesome.

Hope i’m still married next week.

  • moelsen8

going to xda.. that’s awesome. talk about a manufacturer “getting it”.

  • Just got JB on my Verizon GNex yesterday, now this news. AWESOME!!!

    • AnotherAndroidKid

The two, TF201 and GNex make a great pair. Esp if you root and rom the GNex. Makes it so i’m able to use the Prime remotely (my chosen motivation for rooting the GNex)

  • DigitalEnforcer

Wahoo! I can’t wait. I’ve got the Nova launcher on mine, but it can still stutter at times.

  • MisterFixit

There are two messages on xda – one for tf700 and one for tf201. They give different times..

  • zUFC

Nice!!!!!! Mine has been acting up lately (freezing and locking up and closing apps). Said to myself “just wait for JB” rather than hard reset or something. Gave my Nexus away and been dying to have JB on something. So this is great!!!!!!

    • In the section I link it says 72 hours. Don’t you worry your pretty little self.

      • Pretty sure he’s just mentioning that each tablet has a different time frame.

  • DudeManCentral

72 hours?? The actual post on XDA says 48 hours.. Why are you intentionally spreading incorrect information?

  • Raven

Awesome news! Any rumors of the OG Transformer ever being updated to JB 4.1?

  • I keep hoping to hear news of JB on the OG Transformer. …I’ve retire that one, but my wife uses it daily for reading and minimal surfing. It’s stock unrooted, so sure would be nice to receive an official update from Asus.

    • br_hermon

Has there been any rumors or official statements made?

      • michael arazan

Does anyone want JellyBean or higher on Tablets if they aren’t supported by flash? I’d want to be able to watch videos from all over the internet, from news, comedy, tv all for free, not everyone is going to want to buy shows and movies. Without Flash video support, kind of takes away of having a tablet on JB and newer os’

        • Nashoba Darkwolf

you realize you can side load flash from adobe’s site right? There you go problem solved, if you dont mind using DolphinHD or Firefox. Although firefox has been a mixed bag for me.

  • Where’s the TF101 Jelly Bean love at? 🙂

  • Chilly O

Bout freaking time….looking forward to that butter….
