MLB At Bat Lowered to $3.99 as Season Starts Dwindling Down to Playoffs

I don’t know about all of you, but my San Francisco Giants are killing it in their division, which means we can almost taste the playoffs this year. And as the season starts coming to its close, the official MLB At Bat application has been lowered down from a full $10 to the price of just $3.99. For those who have been waiting for the right time to strike on this app, this might be it.

With the paid version you can watch highlights, in-progress videos, and much more, making the $4 worth it if following some pitch-by-pitch text field isn’t good enough.

How’s your team doing?

Great app and I use it daily through xoom and ps3 being a Tigers fan in Austin, TX, but I like how they lower it to $4 for new people but hit me for my $25 just a couple days ago on my monthly billing on mlb.tv, but yes they do a new one every year, just get the light version and connect it to your mlb.tv account

The app just dropped in price. Not the subscription. I think the app should be free. It’s the subscription that we should pay for.

  • Aardvark99

Phillies are making it interesting, but no one is holding there breath they’ll make the wild card.

  • MikeSaver

yeah im a red sox fan.

So happy right now…Giants are so close to the palyoffs, and the Dodgers may not make it at all.

  • LionStone

This app rocks…especially the video clips and being able to share them very easily is nice and just being able to catch up on the game when I can’t watch it live. Today I streamed the free game on 3G with my N7 and I got to watch the Dodgers lose to the Nats… :-)

And has that helped the last two World Series.

      • boybert

Well considering there hasn’t been a Washington team in the postseason since the ’30s, we’re still pretty happy :-P

    • TheDrunkenClam

My second fav team after the reds.. since I live in DC now.

  • DroidOnMyMind

My team has clinched the playoffs :) go Reds!!!

  • Trevor

My Indians are playoff bound too!! Oh wait, they suck.

  • Nathan Choler

Love this app. Buy it every year. Go Reds.

My Reds are the first team to clinch a playoff spot.

  • Scott Merrihew

pirates were doing good until about the all star break, sigh

  • Aaryn Kruger

Awesome app 2nd season I’ve bought it… GO GIANTS!!

  • Jim McClain

base a ball is soooo boring to me

  • Inquizitor

Should be noted that this is MLB At Bat 12. While the apps are well designed, they relaunch yearly. Smarter to get it at the start of a season than near the end.

  • Nico

Big things happening in Oakland! #BallinOnABudget

  • Booyah

$10 for 162 games vs $4 for 14 games. Pass.

    • http://twitter.com/TweetrGuy Random Guy

You get access to almost all of the remaining games. Which is roughly 13 games*15 teams=195 games. Minus the fox games and ESPN games is still well in excess of 100 games.

    • Daistaar

That 10 bucks is for the app not the subscription. Should be noted that to watch the games you need an MLB subscription.
