but I’d say since 3.2 it’s been pretty stable.
ICS made it a beast
JB made it even better.

They (EOS) were the first with ring targets, though. I know AOKP has credited EOS with those improvements.

But I’ll also admit, I thought they had a better ROM before they started in on all the expansion projects.

I’ve been rocking WiFi Xoom since day 1. And I don’t care what you say, I consider it a “nexus” device even though it doesn’t have the word in its name. It’ll have support for many Android OS generations to come. No doubt. Straight vanilla android and no tampering. That’s at the heart of a nexus.

It WAS a turd. Since JB it actually feels quiet nice and is a great tablet that gets updates immediately. I got it at a great price early ($300 when it first came out) and it was fun, but crappy at first, at least compared to the iPad. Now it’s better than it ever was. It is heavy but works great.

I dont want to rag on Team EOS, and this is the first time Ive been unhappy with their work.

I ran the ICS Nightlies and releases, everything was fine. But something is just very wrong with the JB build they have. Just horrible lag, every action lags….even overclocked. I dumped their JB nightlies the day Moto’s LTE JB update leaked and the difference is night and day.

I wanna see how well CM10 runs though. Hopefully Team EOS can work oit the issues they have.

I’ve had my xoom from day 1 (WiFi) and never felt the need to root since it got timely updates, and always worked fine…..

Having said that, once CM10 is official I may have to finally root. Already rocking cm10 on my nexus S. might at well.
