Just got my Galaxy Tab 10.1 OTA ICS update! Now that I have my GS3 and my wife’s Razr Maxx running ICS, all we need is to get my son’s Bionic caught up. Come on Verizon, I might stop talking bad about you for a little while.

I received the update this weekend. But it seems slower with ICS. I see no other mention of this. Particularly in the email application. I was considering downgrading back to Honeycomb.

I’m loving the new look and feel of 4.0 on the Tab 10.1.
It really does seem to run better.

Installed yesterday, flash player no longer works. Reinstalled flash player to no avail. Considering factory reset.

Got the update. ICS great so far. You have to force it. Settings/apps/all/clear data google framework. yall can thank “kfath1978″.

Do a force quir of google services then check it again…takes about 2 times to get it to push through…its like a new tablet now! Wahooooo!

I’ve been reading from a lot of articles and sometimes Verizon will not put out updates for phones if it is not worth it for them money wise, because they pay for the updates, and testing wise because it cost money to test the updates. Phone that are eol and not high margin selling phones will not get updated by Verizon even if there is an update available. Been trying to find out how many units of each phone has been sold by Verizon in the past 2 years but can’t find actual units sold just by popularity.

I think 3.2 was either the touchwiz update or the small securities update, I can’t remember which. I’m assuming you must have had touchwiz for quite a while, it seems like its been at least 9 months or so since that came.

Official ICS for the LTE GTab is fantastic. I actually use it again. Probably only a matter of time before the modem and camera drivers are implemented into ICS and perhaps JB roms.
