No LTE in Denver or west of Denver, but in Puerto Rica ? Did I read that ?

Cannot be, I must be sleep deprived, or dismayed.

  • Rachel

Warrensburg, Mo but not St. Louis?? Where the hell is that?

    • Dtown

I had no idea the 4g lte towers were not up when I bought my galaxy s3. I should have waited, my htc 4g ran circles around this galaxy s 3 on 3g… now you don’t even see Saint Louis on the map to be upgraded. Next upgrade I’m switching. Who cares about unlimited if youcan’t use it for what you need it for

  • jake

what about 4g lte in iowa?

  • CHRIS42060

How the Hell are more places in Puerto Rico getting Spring LTE service than places like Pennsylvania? Were they just looking for the cheapest towers that could add LTE equipment to? Sprint never ceases to amaze me!

    • bealtaine

You may actually be onto something there. It wouldn’t be surprising to see a cell company do that, so that they could use it as a marketing tactic. “We have ### cities lit up now!”

  • Jay

Already up in Lawrence, KS. Go Jayhawks!

  • !What? San Diego is not on the list. Wtf?

  • Gainesville? GO GATORS!!!!

  • Jason James

how long is coming months? coming months could be 11 months from now. its not like they’re lighting up 4GLTE left and right.

  • Lucky Armpit

Wow, they are going to light up a lot of NC. My area especially.

    • Dain Laguna

I thought the same thing. Goodbye vzw?

      • Tim242

Good luck getting signal inside. It will be on the Sam frequencies as Wimax.

        • It’s 1900 MHz not 2500, it will probably be slightly better than WiMAX plus smoother tower to tower transition, heard WiMAX was horrible with that.

    • Andre C

I’m suprised that every major city but the Raleigh/Durham area is getting cut on…

  • chaosrv

unlimited data 4GLTE on the Galaxy SIII without paying full price…here I come! Oh, and goodbye VZW.

    • Tim242

Good luck getting a signal inside. It is on the same frequencies as Wimax.

      • MustWarnOthers

uh, no. Sprint WiMax is 2.5GHZ range, LTE is 1900 and 800.

        • Tim242

It’s not like I work in a Sprint Store and have to take training courses constantly. Oh wait, I do.

          • hyperbolee

Like MustWarnOthers said Sprint’s LTE is on 1900 and they just got clearance to change their iDEN network at the 800 spectrum and repurpose it for LTE. WiMax runs at 2.5GHZ. Regardless the 1900 LTE and 2.5GHZ WiMax both suck for building penetration (lol).

  • Bewara2009

What did they just pick the states name from a hat?

  • Cleveland… Tennessee? Wouldn’t Cleveland Ohio have been a more logical choice seeing how we are a major city in the area? Wow, Sprint… you are looking more like the NOT RIGHT “Now Network” LOL…

    • M C

    • Hunter

It’s not about populations centers, as much as you think it should be…

      • Tim242

        Exactly! It’s about infrastructure

  • Matthew

Nothing planned for Minnesota. And the cold season is coming so I doubt Sprint would have workers install new towers in the Winter. Guess I have to wait for LTE until 2013. Really regretting moving from Verizon at this point.

    • fauxshizzl

I noticed the same thing. Funny they are lighting up 4 or 5 markets in Puerto Rico and not a single one in MN or many other nothern states. This appears to be focused on the dirty south.

      • michael arazan

WTH? They have kansas city missouri as their hq and first for 4g lte and skipped saint louis missouri?

      • hyperbolee

I noticed that too, bunch of Puerto Rico and St Thomas USVI?? WTH yet they are ignoring larger Midwestern cities?

  • Leeroy Waddermelon

    wOOT Lincolnton, NC!

    • TheWenger

Get me some in Winston-Salem/Kernersville/Greensboro and Verizon can kiss my ass.

  • Datboijon

There is los angles on there which is a pretty huge west coast market. But saying los angeles is so vague i wish they would be more specific

  • What about Detroit, MI????

    • Good_Ole_Pinocchio

      Too Dangerous for LTE

  • ceejw

As a Michigan resident I’m glad I’m not on Sprint.

    • Nate Myers

im still waiting on verizon 4g 🙁
had 4g bars at my house this weekend and got all giddy. But it turns out verizon has a 4g truck at the fair sending out the signal. 🙁

      • ceejw

Where are you in Michigan? I live near Detroit and have been to Lansing, Mt Pleasant, Grand Rapids and Ann Arbor in the past few weeks. The only time I saw my phone on 3G was driving on the highway between cities.

        • Nate Myers

allegan, SW of GR in a pocket surrounded by 4g (holland, kalamazoo, grand rapids).

          • TROLOLOL

do any of you live near American Jewelry & Loan? is it really as crazy as the TV show???

        • CHRIS42060

I was driving through Ann Arbor this past weekend (I’m moving to Flint) and I decided to try a speed test on Verizon. I got an impressive 32 Mbps, and during the entire trip I never dropped below 25 Mbps while I was in Flint either. My speeds in PA never even go above 20 Mbps.

  • Bill Anderson

Not a single site on the West coast… Don’t worry about Kellex!

    • Justin Palodichuk

Los Angeles-Long Beach-Glendale, Calif. is on the list.

  • Matt

How is there still no San Diego !?!?!

    • Greg Morgan

      Or Seattle? Dang…

    • Good_Ole_Pinocchio

You’d think they’d be able to FIT some towers in a Whale’s Vagina.

  • Title Type-o fail. O_o

  • Galaxy-S3

I’m starting to suspect Kellex is getting an iPhone 5.

    • Fightthesystem

Given the amount of iphone posts on a droid site.. I am starting to suspect the same..

      • picaso86

He is turning into the Dark Side..

        • Edwin M

I don’t think you can turn into the Dark Side. Maybe one can turn to the Dark Side.

      • Lucky Armpit

Hmmm… and Kellex is mysteriously quiet on the above accusations…. 😛

    • He loves Mac for sure bc he’s using one to update this blog :/

    • chris125

except kellex didn’t write this article…..

  • 2001400ex

Omfg, that’s worse east coast bias than sports media. Just think, I was almost considering sprint to lower my bill.

  • Derek in va

What the crap random villages are these?
