They said HD 32 times in the youtube video for the new hd kindle fire, but they did manage to say high definition once. Like repeating hd 32 times makes it more special.

Probably also because the base model is only 8GB, if you were going to record video you’d waste space in a hurry.

well im no expert but i do know it only takes 1mp to record in 720p and 3mp for 1080p. i know, i dont know how this recording works but thats what google tells me

Wouldn’t the device (or rather video client) select the video profile that is best for video chat?

There typically isn’t anything useful there. They are created at the root of each partition. If you delete it, it will be recreated. It’s just how linux is. Much like hidden folders in Windows, except its not hidden as well. But yes it is safe to delete.

Excuse my lack of technical knowledge, but how do mega pixels and 720p video relate? I thought the N7 only had a 1.X megapixel camera, so I’m wondering how it can capture high def video.
