The Kindle Fire UI and Amazon App store runs like garbage (laggy and unresponsive). There’s no reason for this on hardware that’s the same as the Galaxy Nexus (like the Kindle Fire) minus 512 MBs of RAM. But their Android Appstore app seriously needs a performance overhaul. It’s amazing how badly it runs on even new phones.
