I just don’t get the strategy of Motorola or Nokia. Each introduced new flagship phones today, with very impressive specs. But then, the availability date is way out in neverland. As far as I can tell, the shipping date for the RAZR HD, RAZR HD Max and the Nokia 920 is sometime in Q4. It has to be really dumb to introduce the phone months before it ships. Apple is going to introduce its iPhone 5 next week with an availability date a few weeks later. Anyone, like me, who is on the fence will probably go for the iPhone. If the RAZR HD Max was out at the same time, I’d go for that. But, I think i’ll pre-order the iPhone next week…I just dont want to wait!

Why does page 4 of the live feed show 16 hours of talk time and then it contradicts itself and says 21 hours of talk time on a picture just a few minutes later.

That’s probably because there was nothing special to be seen here. How many freakin’ RAZRs are needed? Droid RAZR, RAZR MAXX, RAZR Dev, RAZR HD, RAZR HD MAXX, RAZR M, RAZR HD MAXX Dev. It’s the same damned phones over and over again. No quad core Tegra 3 or S4 Pro, no 2 gig RAM, just a damned screen? All this for a freakin SCREEN!?

This was the most underwhelming and craptastic event I have seen in a long time. Hell the Nokia event and the Lumia 820 and Lumia 920 was far more exciting that this! Not that I will ever switch but if Nokia can get these to market at a good contract price in combination with WP8 they have a winner on their hands. Whereas this Moto event with 3 more RAZR phones… like we need 3 more? Come on.
