XOOM 3G Available for $199 Today From DailySteals

Another week, another deal on the Motorola XOOM. This time though, it’s the 3G version that you can connect to Verizon’s network, should you need to. It’s not the 4G LTE enabled version, and probably never will be since those upgrades ended months ago. But no matter what, $199 for a 32GB dual-core tablet is still a pretty good deal. While I would recommend that you skip these every single day of the week and buy a Nexus 7, some of you may prefer the larger 10″ screen (and in this cases 10x heavier) size.

The device itself has been “factory recertified.”

Cheers to everyone who sent this in!

More internal storage, SD expansion, better camera, and a larger display. No, the choice is not as cut and dry as it would seem, though I personally would still rather have the Nexus 7.

I’m in for one. Nexus 7 may be a little snappier & smoother, but 7″ is too small. Just ask any female ;)

    WHY NO 4G

I use mine everyday also. Although, it does weigh a ton.

Xoom is still a solid device. Use it everyday. 32Gb plus SD slot is something the Nexus 7 doesnt have.

      Same here.

The Toshiba Excite 10 for $300 at Costco is the best deal in 10″ tablets right now, IMO. Tegra 3 powered with an SD card slot.

      Toshiba? No….just no

I don’t buy Toshiba anything. Any time I’ve bought one of their computers, it has had major problems less than a year out. I got one of their high end laptops and the motherboard went on it twice. Thankfully they at least deal with warranties the right way.

Wonder how good of a deal it still is after one of you just said it was the worst gadget you had ever purchased
