The big one was that now Verizon can remotely access your phone in terms of technical support [it states "with the customer's permission"]. There’s also something about it now having the Wireless Alert System, whatever that is.

All I’ve noticed is that my battery went from lasting 36 hours to 14. ><

Or, alternatively, just set Titanium to reboot your phone every night.
and flash an ICS theme (not the transparent one) – trust me, you’ll love it.

No matter what I did, it wasn’t going anywhere and wouldn’t start. To fix it, I ended up just re-flashing CWM and then flashed a new ROM, so everything was lost since we never made a backup before trying the update. But oh well… But I think your best bet to get the update would be to find someone who released a ROM with the update included. Originally, I had hoped that the update would go through smoothly and we would just lose root, but it doesn’t work that way with this phone apparently…
