Yeah. I take zombies seriously. This would be ok for traveling gaming. Hook phone up to the TV and then bring along a sixaxis. My phone is much lighter than my PS3.

I wouldn’t pay $7 for it at all unless I knew it was full featured from the get go. There are plenty of games that you can play and earn what you can just buy over IAP. Sure some people will buy weapons or what not. I had a guy at work download Dead Trigger and liked it. Came in and said he had bought the M4. Stupid. Maybe I just view mobile gaming differently.

I’m not a fan of the greedy business model that the play store seems to be infected with, so I bought a PSP. I’m embarrassed to even tell you the resolution of the thing, but the games are fun as hell. And more importantly, you can actually buy an entire game for it, instead of buying the game engine, then the maps, characters, and weapons all as separate IAPs.

Let me get this straight. You take one line out of context and say that my argument is uneducated (look up “straw man argument” on Wikipedia).

When you make a game for the first time you are going to have to put in way more work. You have to come up with the original art, decide how the game is going to work with all of the little situations and rules, brainstorm to figure out plot lines, get voice recordings, and work out even the slightest details. When you are porting one system to another, it is obviously a lot of work but not nearly as much as creating a game new (or else it would take the same amount of time to create a game for two different systems).

Now let’s get to the part you ignored. On full console games you get single player, multiplayer, and zombies. Here you only get a fragment of the full game, so the end user would obviously not expect to pay the full $50 dollars for only part of a game.

How about next time instead of posting an uneducated argument full of logical fallacies, you form an intelligent response.

(And No, I don’t buy that you are a developer.)

Yeah their is no honest logical reason for pirating things, but at the same I find it incredibly disgusting that companies treat the people who actually support them and pay for what is being offered, like criminals via use of phucking DRM or any anti-piracy method. And then people who pirate the same content actually have more freedom and ease of use than I do, truly @ss backwards, and just horribly offensive when I’m doing the right and moral thing by supporting you. There are few things in life that make me more irate than that. Only people lying to themselves and everyone else will justify pirating, and I’ll obtain all my content legally or just not obtain it at all by staying instant gratification. Yet still, I’ll do everything I can to use the content that I legally buy, how I see fit. It doesn’t mean I would ever endorse something like sharing that content on the web, but I’ll fight tooth and nail against you if you try and tell me I can’t backup or make portable copies of media I legally obtain. I’ve done my end of the bargain if I have paid you what you’re asking for the content. But the second you attempt to retroactively or even presently control what I do with my purchase, is the same moment that I forever boycott you and do my best to spread the word to other potential customers that you are a liar and a cheat and you want a puesdo-totalitarian authoritive control over a product after you’ve sold, or that you are just an unethical money-grubbing scumbag. Case in point, Madfinger and Halfbrick are insanely wonderful examples of that level of fetid corruption and business evil.
