it almost Apple has exclusive rights to the best PowerVR SGX out at the time when it comes to smart phones. that and their simplistic OS is how they maintain a performance advantage.

All these tests are not testing hardware, they testing the hardware/software combination. Apparently, iPad hardware + software combo is delivering better graphic performance than S4 on ICS, that’s it.

The weak score that the Galaxy Nexus gets on the Velamo test is due to the heavy Qualcomm optimization in that benchmark. The Galaxy Nexus is still one of the top performers when it comes to most platform independent web bbenchmark.

The idea is that this processor will be put into phones and based off of the charts above, the iPhone 4s isnt even listed as similar performing devices. Yes the developer one is a tablet but its a pre-production device that hasn’t reached its full potential.

the Omap4470 has a Power VR 544 gpu, yet somehow it was never put in a phone that I know of, kinda strange considering how old it is. Apparently it’ll be used in some version of Windows RT.
