Well for me personally, I sell for Verizon, so I like to hear about what’s coming down the pipeline, regardless of specs. Not everything needs to be a monster phone, you know. Like Geoff said, some readers here are older and have teenage kids, and a phone like this is perfect for them. So, easy there killer, I do see your point, but just try to see it from that perspective.

Yeah I’m a little puzzled at the lack of flash for the cam, but other than that, I think this will be a great addition to their lineup along with the Inc 4G. Glad to see VZW isn’t just throwing out flagship phones at $300 a pop anymore, and giving those with a bit less to spend some good options.

can’t argue that at all dude. Had one for 3 months, and had to run GO Launcher just to make it tolerable. I’ve never had worse call quality than on that phone, and I could not stand that version of TouchWiz. My 4 year old could have come up with a better skin. I even told my customers to avoid it like the plague, and told them to go Bionic instead. The Nexus renewed my faith somewhat after the .4 update, but battery life still blows. I’m getting a GS3 soon, and I’m hoping they’ve worked all those radio bugs out from previous models and actually got it right (and that S4 processor does indeed help with battery life), otherwise I’m going back to Moto and staying there.

That is what I was thinking, even if it is 4 inch screen (droid charge’s 4.3 does not look bad at all at the same resolution), and no flash… that phone is a little beast.

This is a good phone for teenagers/older gens generally parents looking for a inexpensive phone. I mean I won’t ever buy a kid a $300 dollar device.

b/c readers like us have children that this phone could appeal to. Aside from the lack of a camera flash, this is a reasonable 4G phone at a great price point.
