Tangent: Yeah, the Evo, which I still use, (broke an Iphone, ..blah blah..), is still kickin’ it. As a phone, it’s still great; and it has a 8mp camera that rivals, if not the iphone, then others that came after it (remember, so many of those have/had 5mp cameras that were terrible!).

“you dropped the baby,” LMAO. Hey, Sammie is going to sell the phone as if everyone you know has the phone, because they might be selling one to everyone you know. And if they don’t you will tell your friends/family to get one so you don’t have to wait 5 seconds extra to see the baby and/or something that people actually care about seeing instantly.

Not an overly useful feature. I don’t know a single person getting an S3 as everyone has their own phone of choice they got within the last year from Droid 2 to Nexus, to Rezound. I highly doubt SGS3 is going to be around for long enough before those people upgrade to the next best thing coming out later this year. Seems like a waste of investment to me.
They need to make this capability available through an app, that way any phone could actually use this feature.

Yeah, but the Evo sold a crazy amount and that was when there wasn’t near the selection on Sprint compared to now. The Evo was also a debut of next-gen hardware at the time and didn’t have any real alternatives for a while. Now you get the choose from the Evo LTE, the GS III and even the iPhone. Speaking of which, the iPhone wasn’t an option on Sprint then, so I wonder how well the Evo would have sold if it had been.
