Wrong about Google no longer accepting pre-orders of the Nexus 7. Just added a 16 GB N7 to my cart and was able to check out(last screen), so they are still accepting pre-orders.

And yes, Google could put a hold on shipping Nexus 7′s until this Nokia mess is cleaned up. Let’s just hope Nokia has no case. I’m sure Google has the best lawyers money can buy.

As distasteful as the patent scene in the tech world is right now, the funniest part of this article is that the next few words of the definition displayed in the image you chose explicitly show that you constantly misuse the term “patent troll” due to a strict requirement being that the troll in question must have “no intention to manufacture or market the patented invention.”

Except that 16gb Nexus 7 has stopped preorders cause there are so many orders. In order to order a 16gb one you have to give them your e-mail and they’ll notify you when more are available. So for those who haven’t preordered and were waiting for places to get them, i.e. gamestop, they may not get them if there is an injunction.

How can anyone make a phone or tablet with the excess of similar and vague patents? Google needs to create a search engine just for patents only so everyone can just Google-Patents to see if they are infringing after they make they’re prototype. So we can put an End to stupid patent trolls. Or maybe a WikiPatent.
