Video: Watch the Google I/O 2012 Day 1 Keynote

YouTube Preview Image

Google has posted the day 1 keynote of Google I/O 2012 in its entirety to YouTube for everyone to watch who may have missed out on the live feed. There are tons of Jelly Bean goodies, Project Glass, and other fantastic Google fun that made this one of the greatest keynote presentations we have ever seen.

Cheers Nadeem!

I do find it fuuny that they are using a Mac to demonstrate Google+…

    • kstrickland05

I was going to ask why they were using an Apple product for this.. So sad.

      • Samsungsucks

Being a former Google employee, I can assure you that apple products run deep within the company ranks.

Linux/Ubuntu and Macs are visible everywhere on campus. In fact visit the campus Googleplex and you’ll see macs in google bike baskets ;)

That might be the record for most awkward moments in a keynote video ever. Also, the guy who was narrating during the sky diving and bmx stunts, might be the most awkward of them all.

Why do I always hate all these people that represent the companies? They sound like douches.

  • ericl5112

Why are all the sites putting this up tonight? The keynote was uploaded by the time I got home from work at about 1pm Mountain View time. Is this different from that one?

  • Joseph

    Google is amazing.

  • RobMorris

Anyone know when they show the side by side smoothness comparison of 4.0 and 4.1? I heard they had a quick demonstration and it was insanely smooth

    • ericl5112

      I think it’s about 8 minutes in.

It was up before but they made it private, jerks I wanted to just repeatedly watch it all day long.

Jelly Bean is sooo cool…tempted to get Gnex instead of S3 because I know Gnex will get 4.1 before S3…but with verizon… >.> maybe not that quick.

    • TheRobotCow

Umm… my vzw gnex is running jelly bean :)

After watching this I realize how many of the apps I used to use are now not needed…great!

  • nightscout13

It seems all focus is being put on the camera function of Project Glass, instead of the HUD. I want to know about the HUD!

  • gokusimpson

Anyone notice the T-Mobile logo on the screen during the notifications demo?

    • http://www.droid-life.com/ Tim-o-tato

It’s an HSPA+ G-Nex, which is for both T-Mo and AT&T – Google and T-Mo have always been friends. :)

      • noyfb

Google should buy t-mo and start their on carrier and then insest in their towers for true 4g

  • KleenDroid

    Amazing
