AT&T and Sprint Galaxy S3 Pre-orders are Live as Well

We know that not everyone is a Verizon homer, so we wanted to make sure that you were aware of the other Galaxy SIII pre-orders happening today. AT&T and Sprint’s are both live, however, you can only order the 16GB model through AT&T. Both are carrying blue and white models, but if you want 32GB, Sprint and Verizon are your spots for pre-ordering.

AT&T has yet to give us a delivery date, but Sprint is fully expecting to have them at doorsteps by June 21.

I’d like to see a side by side comparison of the one x and the sg3

  • i just went through the process of ordering one, but then decided not to go through with it. For the pebble blue version it was quoted to ship by June 18th…. Honestly i think i’d rather just wait for the new Nexi’s or w.e the “new Iphone” is called … just for fun, i say its call just Iphone like the third gen ipad was just called “the new ipad”

It saves them from having to learn how to count. 😉

      • its not so much the people at Apple not being apple to count, its that the average American can keep up with all these new models and names. They want there products to be iconic, there already getting away from the spec war. Technology is advancing so fast that in a few years specs will be irrelevant, every computer will be able to do anything the avg consumer will want to do. Its about experience, not that your browser can load a page 1 second faster than an apple product.

It’s hard to keep up when you’re just going to the next number instead of completely changing the name?

Tell me how one would buy the new iPad online once it’s no longer “new” and the newer model comes out considering the original iPad would then have the same name. The numbers make it easier for consumers to tell them apart and generally show that the product is progressing.

          • Either you would signify by price (500 would be the newest model and 399 be last years) or in parentheses it would say (2012 model) next to iPad . Apple has been doing it with iPods for years, not to mention Macbook Pro’s, Mac Pro’s, and iMac. Its been done for years and there hasn’t been any confusion in the customer space.

          • JoshGroff

Most people when selling iTouches or iPods specify gen X to tell them apart, listing by year is much more uncommon.

Also, most desktop manufacturers do that, so it’s pretty hard for the average consumer to tell the differences, so they usually default on either buying the newest model or have help picking them out by someone who can tell the specs apart and get what model they need based on what they will use it for, whether that be a salesperson or a techie in the family.

          • right so ‘the new iPad’ aka iPad third gen conspires exactly what i said earlier. My main point is that people go into the store because they want an iPad, whether they need help picking which model is besides the point. Apple as created such an iconic product that people want it even though they have no idea what specifically is different between the new and old model. At least samsung is recognizing this with there Galaxy S branding scheme

Just pre-ordered the white version for my girl. Will make a point to play with it before I hand it over >:)

Just looked at Sprint’s and it looks like it’s gonna be loaded up with bloatware.

    • JoshGroff

Nothing the dev community and those specs can’t handle. Might get one for the sole purpose of having a plan with unlimited data.

ICS has native bloatware disabling ;), nothing to be worried about 😀

Wonder if ATT’s red version is going to look any good.

Edit: Finally was able to find a pic: http://9to5google.files.wordpress.com/2012/06/use3.png?w=657&h=466

If you look in the general chat for the galaxy s3 over at xda someone posted a picture not long ago of it. It’s alright in my opinion, no reason to switch from Verizon for it though.

      • r0lct

Agreed, personally I can’t imagine switching to any carrier for a color.

    • geared toward women

I vomited in my mouth a little bit when I saw that red color. Yikes.
