I have a Samsung galaxy nexus phone and they time I try and play one of the visits it gets to the HBO screen like it is going today and then says Android process stopped and force closed. How do I fix this?

im having trouble with the login. i have verizon fios, but when i try to login it says i need to subscribe to fios tv. i have subscribed to fios tv for over 5 years now. any help would be appreciated.

Great app, but one little complaint – the on screen buttons stay visible when in wide screen mode on the Nexus. It’d be great if those disappeared to take advantage of the full screen.

  • Boswd

Well that was a quick hi followed by a quick crash.
It appears no support for the Nvida chip in tablets such as the xoom, transformer and others.
    Yeah DRM.

its nice I guess, but who watches tv on a phone?, seems like you would have to carry a large bottle of asprin with you for the headaches it would cause

  • killdashnine

No go on HP Touchpad with ICS.

This really is the annoying part of Android. I realize it’s only one app, but this is the fragmentation people talk about. This has been available on the ipad since day one. Now it’s just coming to ICS and still no HC support? Ridiculous.

    • FortitudineVincimus

and no ICS + tablet support.. yep, fragmentation is abound

    • Boswd

I think it has more to do with processor chips than with HC or ICS.
that is the biggest part of fragmentation. I’m will to bet if the xoom or transformer were using Samsungs Exynos, or a TI OMAP or a Snapdragon it would work.
I guarantee HBO didn’t do a Nvida support for it.

  • FortitudineVincimus

ICS, but NOT for the Transformer Prime, it says “Asus Transformer Prime TF201This item is not compatible with your device.”

it’s 2012, what a joke that we can send video signals around the world and into space and see amazing things in space with telescopes.. but this can’t run on my state of the art tablet.

    Finally! Nice!!

Works great. (be nice if it went full screen like Netflix, but beggars cant be choosers)

  • Raven

Unfortunately, it is not all HBO and MAX subscribers. I subscribe to both and neither work for me. It tells me that my cable company, Midcontinent, does not participate in the service and I should contact them.

  • mike

    seriously? still no xoom support????

  • MrToTo83

    Thank you!

Well, HBO Go does work on the Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 7.0, which just highlights how ridiculous the Android tablet market is today. I guess it’s because of the screen resolution, which on the GT 2 7″ is 1024X600–probably makes the app think it’s a phone, not a tablet. And that makes a twisted sort of sense, because many apps run as phone apps on the tablet. It’s all just a hot mess…

    C’mon xoom 4g ics!! hurry up ^^

  • viewthis66

    finally!

  • xzombiex66

Needs to be available on Tablets, also needs widescreen mode on the GNEXUS

  • kervation

    ICS compatibility at last!

    • FortitudineVincimus

unless you have a 10″ tablet

      • Blood

Which defeats the purpose of “ICS Compability”.

  • adam

ICS , but Xoom no. #fail

    • http://twitter.com/SnkBitten SnkBitten

Same for me…says my ICS 4.0.4 Xoom is not compatible on the web Play Store and can’t get it via the Play Store app on the device either.

      • http://twitter.com/SnkBitten SnkBitten

        side loading didn’t help either…

  • http://twitter.com/QSMinSD Q

It’s awesome that I can use this on my GNex now, but it looks like still doesnt support Honeycomb. It says it’s not compatible with my device when I try to install it on the web to my Galaxy Tab. It would be nice to have this on Android tablets.

    • MacDaddy

I’m able to run it on my htc flyer with honeycomb.
