Hopefully sony users will be getting ICS next, Jean Baptiste said on G+ that sony has been working hard to get it out. By then I’m sure verizon will have to “Test” Sony’s ICS update for 3-6 months to release it to them.

Cell phone company can I pay you $30 dollars to stay with you and be your prisoner for 2 more years? Cell phone company take my $30 “upgrade punishment” so I can give you $2,000 or more the next 2 years. Maybe if Im lucky I will get a droid that has alot of bugs and not thought out completely. Cell phone company I want to pay you so you can mirco manage me. Please cell phone company take my “upgrade punishment” fee… see what we have allowed them to do with us.

Who in the hell wants 2.3.4? That should have come around august or sept. To receive this update in the 2nd quater is a really bad sign. Im sure verizon has no plans to release ICS for this phone. This upgrade should almost take it into the 18 month agreement. I put this phone up after only 6 months of use and got the nexus only to be screwed by verizon because i have the only version of the nexus that will not receive timely updates. That is not updated by google because the service provider is goin to lag like hell on the update so this phone doesnt have a clear advantage over the rest of the slow to recieve update phones. I have really started to hate verizon. If they dont make some huge changes before my contract is up im leaving. By then other 4g services should be showing up in a variety of areas.

Yeah I’m using the CDMA also. Just didn’t realize that the seller sold me a rooted phone until I checked with an app and saw the SU app.

Should be able to update via wifi. I updated my bionic when it was off prior to selling it via wifi. I dont see why not.
