It’s because they are not even that fast and usually the GPU isnt all that great. Apple showed this at the iPad event.

The TP was released at the end of December, and the article says Q3 for this. For the first phone to receive the T3, Q3 is a little early.

Being the first phone with a quad core yes, but The Transformer Prime has also had the Tegra 3 since November. The article states that this will be at the end of the year. By the time this releases the Tegra 3 will have been released to the public for a year. That’s pretty standard with technology.

I’m sure I’m not alone in thinking that during MWC, the brand spanking new HTC One X with the T3 was the ship to jump on, but I guess I was wrong.

It’s not like it has been out for any length of time. T3 was just barely showcased as the latest and greatest and they’re already talking about something that is a SIGNIFICANT boost over the T3. It just feels like they didn’t even try with the T3 with a statement like that.

If you get hurt over that then its obviously your first time to buy a peice of cutting edge technology. Improvements come out all the time, its the way it works in the industry. If you sit back and wait for the best you’ll still be sitting with your Droid a couple years from now still waiting.
