Getting a lot of error messages when trying to add certain publications :(

  • Bill Mitchell

I stopped using Currents because it was so painful to use, but after this update I think I’m gonna give it another go :)

i really wish flipoard would come to android =

  • Smooth918

Wow, that whole manual sync thing made me stick with feedly, guess I’ll give it another try…

Now if only it would mark items read in my Google Reader stream after reading them in Currents ….

And I have to 2nd EvanTheGamer’s question about the mobile site.  Can we please get the mobile site by default from mobile browsers?  Pretty please?

  • http://twitter.com/jofficus44 Joseph Joffe

Does the auto-updating mean this app will use data and power behind the scenes? I have a considerable number of feeds set to sync in currents (including Droid Life), and would hate to see a spike in either power consumption or data use because of this one app …

  • EvanTheGamer

Sweet! Will have to check out Currents now.

Off-topic(sorta): What ever happened to the mobile version of droid-life.com? Only the full web version displays and not the mobile version. Just curious.

Scroll all the way to the bottom and you should see the big pink option to switch to the mobile version. It is desktop by default in the beginning.

      • EvanTheGamer

Really? Could have sworn I looked for that option to switch many times, but could never find it. Thought you guys just got rid of it, or there was issues or something.

Or maybe I need reading glasses…or need to get my eyes checked. Hmm….

        • EvanTheGamer

AH, there it is. Damn small buttons!

      • Good_Ole_Pinocchio

I had no idea there was a Mobile version since the Desktop version defaulted lol….

        • Lavoisier1794

The Dolphin Browser Mini defaults to the mobile site. Dolphin HD defaults to the Desktop site…

      • Stewie

Yes it is Tim, but how does one make the mobile selection perm for say, their phone? I may have a Gnex, but darn it the mobile layout to me, is much quicker in loading. the desktop site loads 90% then halts while the ads have to init … and that occurs on a desktop system as well.

I’ll have to check currents as well to see how it fares.

Auto SYncing????! FinallY!… I stopped using this after the only option I had was 6 and 12 hours if I remember correctly… It was kind of ridiculous. And I wonder if the fix the fact that the App takes up the entire screen…. you know blocking out the notification bar was very annoying.
