i have an issue… i am a tv reporter and when i plug in a usb card i need to look at video… while i am looking at video i also need to write down what i am hearing on the video.. i just upgraded my droid razr with the ice cream sanwhich and used the lapdock and it wont allow me to have two screen up at once….? any help?

I loaded a leaked ICS rom with Webtop 3.0 beta on my Razr Maxx, got a HD dock with 3 USB ports, a KVM switch, and a micro hdmi to VGA adapter and hooked it all up.

Got the lapdock 100 today to use with my RAZR Maxx. This combo is great. Am using more than my GNEX and has fewer to no force closes. Really surprised at how much I am loving this. That 3.0 update looks pretty good too.

The Lapdock is amazing. The Webtop is clunky, but still cutting edge. This is exactly where I saw Moto going once ICS was on their devices. I expect every other manufacturer to follow suit on their flagship ICS phones.

I just ordered a laptop dock the other day for $80 so hopefully this fixes some or most of the problems it had before. The one thing I’m not so sure about is losing a full browser (I know it was slow but it was a full browser) so I’ll be adding Canonical’s Ubuntu for Android whenever I can.

This was the obvious direction to go, and Motorola isn’t stupid. Gingerbread couldn’t support this, ICS can. Motorola was thinking ahead… as usual.
