God you’re thick! No, Samsung hasn’t made *any* softbutton-only, ICS phones yet. The Nexus is a Nexus is a Nexus, no matter who made it! What’s so hard to understand about that? All Samsung phones (not counting the Nexus as a Samsung phone for this argument because its a Nexus, got it?) have had the buttons in that order, soft or not. ICS or not, the Menu, Home and back buttons have always been that way on all explicitly-Samsung phones. I already made that clear in my previous comment, but you’re having difficulty understanding.

All I commented on was that not everyone buys phones on two year spans. That was it. Nothing more.

And developers do enjoy testing their products on things other than the few developer devices (especially those that are widely used such as the Evo 4G or Galaxy S II).

well then why did you respond to my reply which was directed at those who *are* complaining about this?

Also, if you’re a dev why would you buy non-dev phones in the first place? Or at all expect manufacturers to cater to the minuscule dev market?

Looks no better or worse than any other Samsung device except this time there’s less bezel and the on screen buttons are actually justified because they’re in the space the capacitive buttons would be.

By that logic, Samsung has made *no* softbutton only, ICS phones then. The only one on the market set the new platform UI for button order. Samsung is just randomly mixing them up for pointless “differentiation”.
