Tethering and hot spots aren’t always convenient, fast, or a realistic option for those looking for the speed and convenience of an LTE enabled tablet.

I bought a XOOM LTE and love it. The new tablets look appealing but don’t do anything for me that I can’t already do on my XOOM. It comes down to this: I wouldn’t give up LTE for quad core or a thinner form factor or a shiny case. The Prime looks great on paper but spotty wifi, no 4g, and NVIDIA teething issues…no thanks.

Maybe Samsung is on to something. New form factor, LTE, handwriting (for those of us who are trying to go paperless) and a performance bump. To me, the Galaxy Note tablets are targeted to an unmet need in the market and are priced appropriately.

You aren’t going to get a full featured tablet for the price of a Fire. For me, and what I want a tablet for, the Fire is useless.

The perfect tablet, for a Transformer infinity Lte with note taking capability. I would drop a grand on that. As will lots of people on the ipad3 which is also amazing to me. There prices fly past common sense but people freak about a feature packed Android?

price? That’s BS when they subsidize $300 for a phone and $400+ for
iPhones. Shame on Verizon for being money grabbing scumbags and shame on
Samsung for allowing them to pull such a douche move, Both of the
companies have effectively killed this tablet before it had a chance to
breath.
