Galaxy Defenders Released Onto Android Market, Get Your Spaceship Nostalgia On

Galaxy Defenders has just been pushed onto the Android Market and it is a ton of fun. It reminds us of a few games from back in the day where you’re just flying in space having to destroy everything that gets in your way. Epic destruction. There are some old school graphics and sounds so give it a go and let us know what you think.

This must be the first article in ages where Nexus or S didn’t immediately follow the word Galaxy.

this is awesome.  i’ve been looking for something like raiden now for a long time.  i pumped way too many quarters into that machine back in the day.  that would be a great day, when that comes to android!!!

  • You know what bothers me the most about this game? The ship has wings, you don’t need wings in space! Totally unrealistic. 😉

Maybe they’re just advanced pylons for concussion weapons.

But they probably land on planets, which sometimes have atmospheres, which require wings 🙂

Air Attack eats this for lunch (or snack?)

    • Anonymous

Yeah but Air Attack is pretty boring once you’ve beaten it on hard.

      • Guest

        Like every other game ever?

        • Anonymous

Given that I’m not very good at games its rare that can beat one in two days like I did with air attack. That said I’d buy a part 3 in a minute if they put one out.

  • 来看看,收啦

  • Mattaway3

Was this free for anyone else?

    • DigitalEnforcer

I think it’s in App purchasing for this one. You probably get 1 or 2 planets and then you have to pay for the rest.

    •  If it was free for you, it was free for everyone.

      • Mattaway3

Was Jw Because it said 50% off so…

I couldn’t stand to play this type of game on my phone. I’d need a keyboard or a gamepad to really get into it.
