So far digging this ROM. It’s actually pretty damn stable considering it’s an alpha build. What amazes me the most is how fast it runs. Verizon owners of the Nexus know that model runs slick enough, but load any live wallpapers and that buttery smoothness goes away. Not the case with this build on the Razr. Homescreens run smooth regardless of the live wallpaper and everything just feels incredibly snappy, especially web browsing.

The only occassional stutters I see come courtesy of the app drawer. When swiping left and right between the apps and widgets. However, considering this is an early build, I’m excited at the future promise of what these guys will do with this.

ddevito…sorry…I drank way too much coffee and on top of that had a very bad at work.

For blasting you with way too much velocity I do apologize.

But, I do stand by the statement that previous posts both during the pre-release and the release of the gnex…some of you guys were trashing any thread that had nothing to do with the gnex to the point that Kellex finally had to bring peace back to the forum and now some STILL will taint any thread not dealing with the gnex with “the gnex does this and that and is the best phone ever invented!”

For SOME of your fellow gnex lovers, there is no other phone and it’s gnex or nothing! Before gnex this forum was a place where I looked fwd to exchanging ideas with others and having a laugh or two every now and then but now, mostly dealing with gnex, it’s insults and cutdowns and even threats sometime and if you need to be reminded about that do you recall that the rumored release date was “pushed back” and folks talking about going to the nearest VZW store and either egging it or beating up clerks because of it.

So now there are those of us non gnex folks, who got fed up with the gnex fury who simply wish to read this forum about ALL android phones and tablets without the crazy gnex flames.

And btw… I don’t hate the gnex, it’s a fine phone if that’s your tastes but for me I love my RAZR and can’t wait to get ICS on it.

I never said the GNex was the end all be all. IN fact, I like this post, and I like ALL phones to get ICS.

It was a simple request. Clearly you hate the GNex and that’s fine, that’s what Android is all about, and we can certainly agree with that.

I will tell you that I liked this post, but it seems no matter how many times I say it yet one more “person” has to hate. So be it.

I did notice the different servers, I tried to run it again but they both picked different servers. At that point I didn’t know what to do.

It is true that this is isolated and could be far from the norm. I may live in good reception areas but where I use it and where it doesn’t work are all the same as my OG but with much faster speeds. I’m really not asking for more at this point
